Myron Bikakis and Mark Johns are premiere artists working in a renaissance of classical jewelry making, using techniques and materials that give their work a unique eternal spirit and beauty. Everything is smithed, raised, and formed by hand with the use of simple tools such as hammers, pliers, files, and saws. Tiny gold granules are painstakingly placed onto a gold surface like paint on a canvas, then permanently bonded with the application of an intense flame. Utilizing a vast knowledge of the ancient arts of granulation, repoussé, filigree, and chain making,—with an understanding of ancient artistic sensibilities—they create the uncommon, a modern piece of jewelry with timeless character and tradition.

In their New York City studio, Bikakis & Johns marry modern and archaic styles, featuring a wide range of gemstones, including diamonds, pearls, tourmalines, and exotic garnets to create beautiful and functional jewelry.
