Product Availability

This site is updated nightly to add new items and remove sold items. Product availability, therefore, may differ from the status indicated. Feel free to contact Hamilton Hill to learn of plans for replenishing certain items or to place an order for items not currently in stock.

Returns / Exchanges

 In-Store

Jewelry in original condition may be exchanged for store credit within 14 days of sale. Items may be returned within 7 days of sale for a refund less a 5% fee to cover restocking and bank charges.

Online

Items purchased online may be returned for full refund minus shipping charges within 10 days of delivery. Items returned after 10 days and within 30 days will be processed as a store credit minus shipping. Returns are not allowed after 30 days. Please include a copy of your receipt and written instruction/requests in your package. Hamilton Hill highly recommends insuring packages being returned. Credits and refunds will not be issued until items are received. You may also return online purchases to our store.

Special Orders

Special order and custom-designed pieces cannot be exchanged for store credit or returned for refund.

Ring Sizing

Sizes of rings in the store are noted in the product description. Some rings can be re-sized, while others will need to ordered. If a ring can be sized, the first sizing will be free of charge. Sizings will generally take between three days and two weeks depending on the complexity of the job and who will perform the work. Orders generally take between 10 days and six weeks. The time frame for sizing or re-ordering your ring will be conveyed to you by email or phone and if the price of the ring has changed, that too will be reported. Returns are not allowed on special orders and sized items. Accuracy of finger size is the responsibility of the buyer unless measurement was done at Hamilton Hill.

Sales Tax

North Carolina state/Durham City-County sales tax (7.5%) is charged to anyone purchasing and carrying out items in the shop. Non-NC residents are not charged sales tax by Hamilton Hill if the purchased items are shipped to another US state or foreign country that is the client’s official residence. Paying tax in your home state is your responsibility.

Shipping

Packages are shipped Tuesdays through Fridays, excluding holidays. Shipping charges are based on insurance value and distance and are non-refundable. We offer free 2-day shipping on orders $2,500 and over.
