As I contemplate Ken Weston’s boundless energy for serving and delighting clients at HH, I share these thoughts and impressions with you, Dear Friends and Fans:
Learning is possible at any age. And learning is growing.
Creativity is generative. In Ken’s case, he generates tangible items and receives the intangible rewards of satisfaction, gratitude, and joy. What a recipe for inspiration to keep on keeping on.
We age differently. 80 feels different for everyone. He has gotten lucky on the body and brain capacity. When I, at age 64.80 (yes, counting this year), see him move, work with little rest, I marvel and wonder how he does it. I am inspired!
Ken’s HH coworkers range in age from 29 to 75. Does that play a role in his youthful outlook and ability? We hear that intergenerational mixing is good!
Ken pursues passions including jazz drumming, cooking, reading/listening to mind-expanding literature.
In closing, I send best birthday wishes to Ken (October 26) and many thanks to all of you friends and fans who give him the opportunity to shine brightly.
Mwah!
