My favorite time of year.
Munich in February. Sometimes sunny. This year: snowy and cold.
Every year Hamilton Hill jumps across the pond for Inhorgenta (an international trade show in Munich, Germany)— a few packed days of seeing our European designers, shaking hands, sitting down for proper conversations, and looking closely at what’s new.
New collections. New jewelry. New ideas.
What 2026 is bringing based on this visit:
– Pops of orange
– Round brilliants mixed with fancy shapes
– Pearls. On everyone.
– Initial / letter necklaces
– Layering
– Irregular, organic forms
We pay attention to trends — but we don’t chase them. It’s more about noticing the shifts and choosing to adopt new perspectives or steer toward the design principles we know and love.
Mostly, though, it’s about the people. The designers we’ve worked with for years. The meals after long fair days. The warmth and familiar faces.
We love our people.
Inhorgenta 2026 was a success, and we have a lot of new jewelry (coming in the next few weeks/months) to show for it!
